Well, I say Life of Brian is a good movie. But I think Holy Grail is better (I started watching Monty Python by watching Holy Grail - I live in Brazil, so the movie came before the series, which only showed on cable TV for a few months - english jokes seems to be not so funny for brazilians... I am one of the few who liked Monty Python).
Well, I never saw MP The meaning of life. If someone could tell me anything about this movie... (and have anybody bought the 14 disks DVD collection? If so, what you tought about it? I am thinking of buying, but I won´t, if anyone says it is far too silly).

Glad to be here. Glad to be gonbe. I´ll be back.

Always look on the bright side of life.

The Meaning of Life is not as good as either Life of Brian or Holy Grail. However it is still very good and has some absolutely classic moments (Mr Creosote exploding and TG's animation of the falling leaves to name but two).

If you are a Python fan, the 14 set DVD is worth having if you can afford it. As to saying its too silly - it's Monty Python. Of course its silly!!!!!!!!!!!

is there such a thing as too silly?

I personally think they all are about equal with Grail and Hollywood Bowl just a bit ahead. MOL and LOB are tied.

Holy Grail and Hollywood Bowl are the best you will find. and I play that song at every given opportunity, not just at a funeral. To which matter, I'm refusing to have a funeral, instead I will make myself useful and be eaten by fishies or grow into a tree....(they always said i was nuts, who knows i could be an acorn)...BUt ya at the party they have wen i'm finally gone I want my best mate to stand up and sing that song top volume so i can hear it. and i'd be joining in too by whistling along...then...they'd all be rich for finding a whistling tree! (ok i'll just shut up now)

I'm so boring, I don't have a decent signature.

life of brian is my favorite python film because it's all about religion and the church.
BTW on my funeral I'd love to have someone reciting the parrot-sketch.

Re-issued "Life of Brian" opened in our city on Friday. It is at one theatre - the local art cinema!<hr noshade size="1">

If you don't mind my saying so, you're badly in need of an expensive course of psychiatric treatment.

Yes,but you see,the cheesemakers are the most spiritual of the dairy people.More lofty, more philisophical.
