For the past month or two a theater near my house has been screening classic films. They did Ghostbusters this past week, and The Godfather this week. Boy was I excited when i found out that they were doing The Holy Grail on Feb. 30th! I went of course and bought tickets an hour ahead of time; good thing too as they were all sold out. Before going into the show, my friend (aptly named Dennis) who is a gigantic Python fan and I agreed on no quoting as we didn't want to annoy the other movie goers. When we realized that we were more anoyed NOT quoting with everyone else, we joined in. We really couldn't help repeating everything, and repeat everything we did. It was a truly unique experience coming together with Python fans of every age and race to convene on something we all enjoyed. We all sang the songs, recited every scene over the film, and had a genuinely amazing time.

Just thought I'd share this with you all =D

I love screenings like that.

I went to one a couple of years ago in Trafalger Square in London. As the World record attempt for the largest coconut orchestra was just before, everyone had coconuts. Methinks you can guess what it sounded like anytime someone with a coconut came on screen.

At the most recent late-night show of Holy Grail here in Camelot,
your very own Sir Michael introduced the film in his gumby hat, and afterwards,
gave away a can of Spam -- a can signed by Sir Michael himself
whilst noting his famous website. Quite a treasure for some lucky peasant.

(Feb 30th? We didn't have Feb 30th at our house in Yorkshire - in fact
our father sent us to bed without the month of February at all!).

That would be so fun! :D I'd love to go and pretend it was back in the day!
