I personally think that the ending to Holy Grail wasn't as funny as it could have been. I know they'd ran out of money by then, but I think it could have been better. So now, I want all you writers out there to put on your thinking hankerchiefs and write an alternate ending. The winners will recieve a signed Lemon Curry and a lifetime supply of wolf-nipple chips. I shall start off.

******************************************

Britons get ready to fire with crossbows, when suddenly, Zoot, Dingo and all the women from the Castle Anthrax run to the French and start beating them with fresh fruit.

Arthur: (to Bedevere) This whole thing's been a bit of a bugger, really.

Bedevere: Yes my lord.

God: Alright you lot, nobody got the grail, but listen to this new quest I have for you. You must go and find the holy herring, only found in the dark lands of Southern Scotland...

Arthur:(turns to the monks and whispers) Do we have any other Holy Hand Grenades?

Monks: Yes sir.

Arthur: Here lord, catch!

God: What?

(Holy Hand Grenade explodes. God is gone.)

Bedevere: Oh God! (pointing)

Arthur: No, he's gone.

Bedevere: No, 'Oh God' as a shout of surprise!

(Arthur and Bedevere turn around to see a swallow carrying a coconut. It picks them up with it's claws, and flies over the Soldier #1 and #2 from the beginning.)

Soldier #1: (to #2) Told you!

********************************************

That's my contribution.

You seek the holy grraill?

Actually, I've got a couple of questions that I thought of when I was watching Grail this morning.

1. if they ran out of money for a cartoon, how did they possibly have the money to hire the extras required for that piece.

2. the coconuts as horses was supposedly used because horses were too expensive, but I think it was on the holy grail DVD that one of them said they were writing ideas and the first scene of the movie was one of them and they built it from there. Which is true?

Why does it need an alternative ending anyway?

I rather enjoyed the ending to Holy Grail. It was suprising and unexpected. The first time wacthed it and the screen turned black and the corny organ music started I sat there laughing like "wait there has to be more" but there wasnt and thats what makes it so funny.

I am one of the eight score blondes and brunettes at castle anthrax, all between the ages of 16 & 19 1/2, it is a lonely life, bathing dressing, undressing, and I have ben a wicked, naughty girl and I must be punished. You must tie me to a bed and spank me and afterwards, The Oral Sex!

Loved the music at the end!<hr noshade size="1">

If you don't mind my saying so, you're badly in need of an expensive course of psychiatric treatment.

Somebody mentioned earlier that "if they ran out of money for a cartoon, how did they possibly have the money to hire the extras required for that piece."
Well, they didn't hire extras, they were all volenteers.

I think those questions, which I asked, will never be answered, sadly.

well as for your other question pythonline I believe that it started out as the first scene and worked perfectly that they didnt have to spend money on horses and teaching the pythons to ride them, so it was a combination of the two. I could be wrong but who knows.
