I think my favorite scene from Holy Grail has got to be the Trojan Rabbit scene where Arthurs knights "forget" to get inside the Rabbit before they wheel it into the castle - then they discuss the plan whereby they will "leap out of the rabbit" after dark...hilarious.

I also really enjoy the animals being catapulted over the castle wall. My screen saver on my computer at work is the cow being thrown over the wall...always makes me laugh.

I love the witch scene, the second French taunting, and the tale of Sir Robin. I also like Constitutional Peasants. Really, I like the whole film.

mmh there are several scenes i love :
the french guards of course and when they throw animals
john cleese is very funny
the knights of ni. The way he speaks is so great (wiiiiiiith... a herring !) and i also love when they speak to the old woman and terry gilliam goes "nou ! nou !" [:D]
also the animation of "the tale of sir lancelot" and the clouds jumping
also when this woman bangs the cat on the wall
the scene with god is great too
and when the knights of ni change into ekki ekki ekki... and one still says "ni ! ni !"
also when prince herbert writes his "help letter" and sends it !
and finally when lancelot attacks violently the wall decoration in the castle

It was Terry Jones, not Terry Gilliam. Just had to say that.

terry gilliam is almost like the python that wasn't. he almost never played any roles. weird.

And the shock news is that the German's leading second-hand goods champion, Mrs. Elsie Gruber, has been found to be a man. Good news for her, but bad news for John Motson, who spent the evening with her last night.

But remember- he was Patsy and jailor. He directed Holy Grail and made the timelss animations. If it weren't for him, Python would be VERY different.

You're no fun anymore.

Oh, yeah. He was actually Cardinal Fang. Terry J. is Biggles[:p] and Michael is Ximinez.

You're no fun anymore,
