Has anyone ever been able to get soundtrack music from Holy Grail that wasn't simply a recording of the film's actual soundtrack? I have not heard the Holy Grail soundtrack CD, but I believe that it's essentially like just listening to the film with one's eyes closed. I'm curious to know a number of things about the soundtrack: what music (besides the Camelot song and a couple others) was actually composed for the film? What are those pieces that sound so romantic and dramatic, sometimes Wagnerian?

One time I was surprised to hear some of the incidental Grail music used in a zombie film--I can't remember which one--but probably one of the Romero ones. Dawn of the Dead? Maybe Argento, I can't remember.

The "DeWolfe" that's given in the Grail credits for music seems to be referring to a music publishing company that provides stock music for films. If most of the film's orchestral and vocal score comes from DeWolfe's catalogue, I'd love to see them release it as an album.

Anyone have info on this stuff?

...and there was much rejoicing...

Neil Innes composed most of the music for Holy Grail...

As for the soundtrack, you won't find what you are looking for.

Here's a link to the CD on amazon, it tells you whats on it, ect.
