Hi there
I am working for a new BBC chat show. We have Terry Jones on the show. I am looking for any Monty Python groups who re-enact classic Python sketches particularly the men doing the female roles, ala Terry Jones..we are also looking for bizarre and unusual merchandise (for example Mr Creosote doll) all merchandise will be sent back recorded delivery and we will endeavour to get it signed. Any fan who can provide us with a wealth of merchandise can get 2 tickets to the show..we are recording it in Manchester on Friday 9th June.
Please let me know on emmas@hattrick.com or phone 0161 244 4740
I thank-you

Sounds cool. Except that I am living in the wrong country and do not spend the few pennies that I have on silly things like merchandise.

Don't know any groups - but would be okay with doing something (conditional to boss giving me time off etc). Not a bloke though, but can screech with the best of them (and I have very masculine (i.e. hairy) legs).

Have an exploding penguin, a black knight (complete with falling off arms) and a Spanish Inquisition doll. Also have the beginnings of a clippings collection, as well as the usual books, CDs etc.

Sir Michael the Naughty has an extremely good collection of Python stuff incl. lots of rare things - but he's in the US (although I think he's lent some stuff out before now). Might be worth giving a yell to - his e-mail is listed as "pythoncollection" at "yahoo" dot "com".

If I only had enough money to make that hop across the pond... and had merch. to share. That sounds splendid!

I can vouch for my collection...
(thanks Cardinal for the nice remarks, you're the best!)

...and my email address...
(can be looked up on one's own via the memberlist)

...but not the hairyness of the Cardinal's legs...
(no idea what parenthetical comment to include)

...and still no idea why Donna Reading doesn't accept
my sincerest invitations to candlelight dinner
(flame away).

Yeah, I mean, I got a great collection of vintage MP records, MP computer games, laserdiscs and such; but I don't waste my money on action figures or crap like that.

PS Michael, I still got some items from your wishlist, as I told you before.
