Hey! I don't know if any of you guys might have heard of "Nearly Departed," a 1989 show starring Eric Idle. Well, I've tried like crazy to find at least one episode or clip from the television series and I can't find anything :( . Maybe some of you know where I can find a clip. I mean, the only solution I can think of is to vote for it to get out on DVD. So if any of you have been dying to see this show as much as I have, there is a site where you can register to vote. Here's the link: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=2989
You can also register to see Rutland Weekend Television (another awesome show featuring Eric and Neil Innes):
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=4924
I also put the first link up on my site if you'd like to access it there. While you're there you can also that a looksey at my python fan art :P. The address is: http://www.freewebs.com/pythonorbit
But if any of you know where I can still find a clip, please pleeeeeaaaaase let me know. Thankees :D

Thank you :D Perhaps there might be someone... I hope. The more I think of it, I don't know if Nearly Departed or Rutland Weekend Television is a popular subject to bring up at all. Oh well... at least I tried :)
Has anyone seen either of the shows, by the way? I've actually got four episodes of rutland weekend television but that's it. *sigh* I wish I could put them up but they're really long.

I have the full version of the theme song (sung by Eric Idle) called "That's Death" if you want it...I think that's the theme song I have...

Sure! That sounds awesome! I think it might be the theme song since the show's about ghosts. Either way, I'd still like to give it a listen.

I think I might have found the theme song. It's very interesting too. In case anyone else wants to here it, this is the link:

I'd love to be able to watch Rutland TV again. It's one thing I really regret not having in my collection. I watched some of them when they were originally broadcast when I was about 10 years old..

If anyone wants to trade DVD's I've just created a website and put up my first list of about 25 items - by coincidence only Monty Python for now but it will grow as recatlog my collection.

I have many shows recorded from UK TV and want to swap with other fans for other comedy shows (not just Python) and music shows too.

Take a look if you want to swap - http://dvd247.tripod.com

Do you have DVDs on Nearly Departed? Maybe I can try and swap some of my Rutland Weekend Television episodes for a few episodes of Nearly Departed, if you have any episodes. I know that they are very hard to come by.

I can't take any credit for the avatar. As the village idiot says, its from the Boosh - a character called Rudi who plays freaky guitar. I though Boosh were very well known.

Thanks for the welcome anyways.
