According to the Daily Express, Michael Palin is in talks with pal Terry Gilliam about playing a role in Gilliam's new movie.

Here's a quote from Terry G. straight out of the article:

"Mike and I keep talking about a project which is based on a book called Water Music by T. Coraghessan Boyle, about Mungo Park, the famous 19th century Scottish explorer who discovered the Niger River,"

So yeah, Michael Palin, now famous as a globe trotting host of travel programs, will play an explorer in this flick.

Wonder if Gilliam would let me be in it too. I could play a damsel the Mikester discovers whilst exploring
