I just got this DVD too. The sketches are funny, if a bit more conventional than Python, but the Bonzo Dog Band stuff - as expected -is magnificent - who cares if a lot of it looks under-rehearsed. Just helps confirm for me that, along with Peter Cook, Spike Milligan and Python collectively, Viv Stanshall is one of the great geniuses of British comedy. Also interesting to see Eric Idle accompanying the Bonzos on piano for one number.

I got it off Amazon Marketplace (not intending this to be a plug) for 10 of the Queen's pounds.

I know you weren't really asking me but I thought I'd chip in anyway.

i bought do not adjust your set the week day and have so far only watched a little bit of it but i must say that some of the 'sketches' are very pythonesque. like the one with michael and david and he asks for his shopping and he gives him show polish and when Terry asks for shoe polish he doesnt get n e thing. i think that is very monty python and i like the one with eric and he talks about gravity and at the end he drops the pencil to demonstrate gravity and it floats up! i love that!
does this dvd have the one with Terry and Michael going to a friends house in business suites and asks is so-and-so can come out to play but denise coffey says "no, he came home late from the office and he has just had dinner so the food has to go down" and mike says "but we have to be in by 8o'clock" thats the 1st DNAYS thing i ever saw - only as a quick clip. Sounds like i grew up with this show but i didn't, im only 18. lol.
im going to watch some tonight or this weekend. its rather good for a kids show :)

if anyone can pitch in more helpful info / reviews for what im in for please post! lol. thanks.

pythonfan.
