Try writing to the Monty Python office - address in the FAQ section of my website.

'bout time for a new FAQ item. The rights to performing Python
sketches might be obtained via inquiring to the Python office.
For faster response, add your name and address to your phone number,
and send that number of blonde 22-year old Norwegian crumpets
over to my flat at 22A Runcorn Avenue, Camelot.

Yes you do. It's called copyright, and appears on every book
and film and record and CD and video game and so on.
The Monty Python team wrote the material, so they (or their
publishers) implicity own the content within it. You own the
physical medium which contains a copy of the comedy and can do
with it as you please - burn the book or eat the vinyl or use
the videotape to tie someone up; they don't care.

Granted, whether the Python office or publication companies
will go after someone for a copyright violation is another matter.
As this isn't a forum for legalese and I'm no expert,
I'll bow out of the discussion for good right here.
But read the copyright and figure out the implications.

I feel an argument sketch coming on...
