What kind of things do you need to know?

you could check out the master site here for biographies and a history (somewhat). our own Cardinal Fang's site is really good as well, along with Pythonline and Pythonet.

um... it may useful to read the story of king arthur and his knights of the round table first and then watch Monty Python's Holy Grail - you'll be able to contrast the serious version with the parody and you might get a few extra marks for doing so

god i wish they let ME do Monty Python at university :| ! i'm doing bloody Coetzee and Ovid and Plato and The Decameron for English :( ! Chaucer'll be good though... holding out for Chaucer.

btw - u can ask me anything about the british and i'll try me best to help out... being English myself n'all...

Actually polo_tottie has a good idea with Holy Grail vs "serious" Arthurian legend.

You could also do a cracking project about the Life of Brian - the controversy that it caused (and why the Christian groups were being silly because LoB is not about Jesus) - check out the book "Monty Python: The Case Against" as background.

You could do a report on the effect of 16-ton weights
falling upon merchant bankers and chartered accountants.
