Which Pythons are no longer living anymore??

Hey I was just watching the opening of the Monty Python program on PBS channel 13 KERA in Dallas & there was a Memorial dedication for John Cleese who just passed away. Has anyone heard this? He really active with our PBS channel because we were the first to bring Monty Python to the US, but , I'm stumped about this. Thanks Hoozier

Hi Melanie, You must have been watching the same program I was watching. They didn't leave it up very long tho, & by the time I realized it was about the other fellow who has just passed away , My speed reading skills failed me.

pneumonia brought about by the throat cancer

just to be a pedant;
i don't see how throat cancer caused his pneumonia
tis more likely that he developed it coz of the cancer treatment killing off all his antibodies

oh christ - who am i kidding? who cares about the finer details of HOW he died - the point is the man died; a slow, horrible, undignified death that NOBODY deserves.

i know when i first joined this forum i didn't like Graham very much, but as i've got more into python, i've got more and more fond of him. He seems to have been a top bloke with a lot to live for and i'm very sorry he went, especially way he did. In the short time he was with us he did stuff that most people can't achieve in a whole (full) lifetime and only dream about, so i take my hat off to him.

in this moment of sombreness (which is unusual for me so make the most of it), i think we all ought to raise a glass (or something):

To Graham. Long may he make us laugh!

When my brother-in law had cancer they cooked his lungs with the radiation treatments. Killed his cancer. Even killed his healthy lung. He also got pnumonia & died. My sons lungs were also fried with radiation for his throat cancer. He can't talk anymore but he's alive.

He's not really dead, that was a joke. No worries. People have been talking about it a lot and he isn't actually "bleedin' demised".
