I'm reading it at the moment and rather enjoying it. Its a bit of a mish-mash of stuff. There's some transcripts from GC's college lectures (which are more interesting if you've not seen the Looks Like A Brown Trouser Job DVD), some scripts and sketched that he wrote, some letters and articles penned by GC (some an excruciatingly funny - like the "Calcium Made Interesting" one that gives the book its title, and the one to his bank manager about his overdraft; some are more serious bits of work and to some extent your enjoyment of them will depend on your views on the subject he is writing about).
I think its a good glimpse into the mind of a loony - I think the critics have been panning it because they don't get it.
