She's your friend and not a Terry fan yet :?: :!: :!: how on earth is it possible??!! I just can't believe it
lucky bastards! you've got so many chances to see Terry! two hours don't make a big difference

hehe well she thinks he's attractive, but she's not a major fan or anything - she'd be more than happy to meet ANY of the pythons! you've got a point about the distance.... but my major grumble is not so much the distance as the cost of getting there and back - as most things are in the evening i'd have to stay in a hotel or something overnight. Money is always a problem when you haven't got any! *student*

got another one coming up

kewl :D i don't know what i'll go to - coz of student finance (or lack of) as most of these talks are pretty far away from me and in the evening, so i'd need to stay the night somewhere. i need to learn to drive :(
if you do go - take lots of pics and post them up here!!! the hay on wye does sound good though!!

wahey!!!
just emailed Dad begging to go - because it is right in the middle of my exams (24th, 25th, 31st) eek! so i've been saying something along the lines of it being a nice break from the stress of exams etc blah blah blarg
hopefully he'll come coz before he said he'd be up for the trip because he likes Wales and wouldn't mind going to a lit fest... but its a lot earlier than i expected - i was thinking it'd be in like july or something - not in 2 weeks time, AND on a friday!!! (the same day Barbarians airs on bbc2 @9pm)

'The Unsteady Chough' is on BBC4 on May 20 at 7.55pm, a five-minute
animated short based on one of TJ's poems.

Plus there is an interview with him in the new edition of the
Radio Times (three Princes cover) :D

*going out to buy that now!!!*

.... as soon as I lug my lazy arse out of bed *blush*

Dad's not keen on going! because it's 'a four hour drive'
SO WHAT?!?!

He's driven for 13 hours straight up to Aberdeen and never complained!!! but suddenly 4 hours with a huuuuuge break in the middle is too much... i'll even pay for the petrol! and lunch etc!

its about the same with a train and then that has three changes and only goes to hereford - so thats £35 for the train to hereford and £10 (at least) from there to hay on wye plus whatever accommodation costs - £40+ and the £14 to see terry strut his stuff (if i want to see the barbarians talk AND erik the viking)

tres expensive

i'll keep on harrassing him - he was ok about it until mum got involved. :?

i need to learn to drive.

badly.
