i agree with u - when i said 'no pressure' i meant about writing something good! its not easy ... being green *sorry - i had to write that or i would have imploded*... yeah - it's not easy writing something funny - let alone an entire script! also what we find funny, they might not -even though..... aah forget it i'm confusing myself now. now THAT takes skill!

Yeah, comedy is a hard game to play. But I recentley finished my own screenplay, a parody on James Bond. It's Dutch, since I'm Dutch, but it has it's Python humor in it, so I know my Python humor well. Now, the big question: What and when are we going to do it?

That could be nice. I think that we should wait until we've got enough ideas, but them in a poll and then watch which one it will be.

Well we can all certainly hope, can't we? I imagine there will be something happening, whether all the (living) members are actually involved or not. They might re-issue one of the films or something with new special features. That's usually what happens for anniversary stuff. But it would be WONDERFUL if something big actually occured, like a reunion of sorts.

Personally I'd prefer them to want to do something together, rather than feel obliged because of an anniversary.

I mean look at their record in the past. It's not really been plain sailing as various members couldn't or didn't want to join in.

I guess its sad for people who missed out the first time around and think something new after however long it has been since they official split or last worked together will somehow capture the past.

It's over folks. Enjoy what they did together and what they're doing apart.

Well, remember when I posed the idea of making up a screenplay together? I started and IMO the first half is pretty bad but it get's better when you read further. Please give me your opinion:

EXT. PLAIN

We SEE a shot of a plain going up.

Inside the plain, ALL THE PYTHONS are sitting next to eachother. Cleese and Idle, Gilliam and Palin and Jones and Cleveland. They are all dressed up.

IDLE
(To Cleese)
I'm sitting here, sir, could you please pull your suitcase away?

CLEESE
Allright...if you insist

IDLE
Nice plain isn't it?

CLEESE
(Emotionless)
Yes. So...what the f**k are you going to do in America?

IDLE
America?

CLEESE
Yes, it's too big a name for a sh*t country like that

IDLE
Are we going to America? You can't be serious! Are you sure about America?

CLEESE
What is there to be sure of?

IDLE
You know bloody well what I mean!

CLEESE
If I knew I would have been paying attention to the pointless sound that's coming out of your ugly little mouth

IDLE
Wait a minute!
(asking JONES)
Are we going to America?

JONES
I hope not!

PALIN
America....I've never heard of it

IDLE (To Cleese)
Hi, my name is Truman, Truman Bigs

CLEESE
I can't tell you my name.

IDLE
Why not?

CLEESE
Because I'm part of the secret service. If I would tell you my cover would be blown away.

IDLE
Well, you can tell me, I can keep a secret.

CLEESE
Well...My name is Jond....Bames Jond. I have to save America from the hotdogs attacking our country.

IDLE
Hot dogs?

CLEESE
Well, some of them are cold. But nevertheless, it is up to me. If I won't go...your world would be gone in less than two days...well...also if I go...

IDLE
So why are you in this plane? Aren't you supposed to be in a privet jet or something?

CLEESE
Well, I could be of course...But it's part of my camouflage to be in a normal plane without any disscusion. No one will take notice of me, so no one will know I'm going.

IDLE
In a privet jet nobody would..

CLEESE
(Shoots Idle) Oh shut up

Yes, I know. I was thinking of the following: Everybody post a new scene and then I'll put it together and we have a script. Wouldn't that be a good idea?

Yes, it's a bit like Basil Fawlty, isn't it?
