I just went onto Ebay, and apparently the Megaset for all of the episodes is being sold for (get ready for this!!!) anywhere from 15.00$ to 50.00$!!!!!! At first I was like "Oh My God!!!! I've got to get this!!!" And then I realized that no one would be selling this for that cheap if there wasn't something wrong with it...So, I want you guys ("and girls") and girls to help me by doing his ("or her") or her duty in helping me find something wrong with these (if it doesn't take up to much of your time). If it helps any, some of the box sets iwere made in China, which is sort of weird...

Also, the ones from China say "Special Asian Collector's Edition"...What the hell does that mean?????

The best way to find out about someone selling something on ebay is too look at their feedback. It gives you an insight to the seller and whether the items they sell are exactly as they are described on the page.

I can tell you that the first one is probably a bootleg, the second is a good price but it's probably used and the person hasn't sold anything before so you can't be sure what kind of seller they are, I can't find anything wrong with the product but the seller has a couple of really bad feedback comments but in comparison to the good comments this item would probably be good to bid on, the forth is a bootleg, and the fifth is a good price from what seems like a relatively good seller and would probably be the best to bid on.

I got mine off of ebay for $50 brand new, in perfect condition, so just because it's cheap doesn't necessarily mean it's in bad shape.

If you were iwilling to pay $50 this is the person I bought from and had a good experience with:

This isn't really a forum for economic debate, so the following is simply an opinion.
If you must disagree terribly strongly, please take it to private messages;
I won't engage you in battle and online flaming is boring and passe' anyway.

Special Asians do exist, but there is no such thing as a The Special
Asian Edition of Monty Python or whatever. For the most part, these
kinds of DVD sets are illegal bootlegs, usually cheap imperfect copies.
Tons of these are produced overseas to make a fast buck, and our
heros the Python boys receive no royalties from them whatsoever.

Even though the cost may be a little more, I would encourage anyone to
please do their best in supporting Monty Python team and their
various production companies by purchasing legitimate material from
worthwhile dealers, or enjoy a used DVD set that needs a good home.

Naughtiness has its place, but even we heroic handsome Knights
of the Round Table must firmly discourage buying rotten bootlegs.
King Arthur taught us well.

Thanks Dennis for the kind words.

Imagine how bad the Holy Grail movie would have turned out if
King Arthur settled for a cheap imported plastic copy of the grail.

not to take away from your point, but in theory it wouldn't have been any different, as we never actually saw the grail.

Watched it this morning -- an image of the grail appears in the God scene, non? Ok, I guess that wasn't the real one. Mine here at the Naughty Castle looks just like it. Maybe I own the real one!

GET BACK TO TOPIC!

Anyway, thanks Dennis for supporting real DVDs and not cheap ripoffs.
