I'd like to obtain a comprehensive list of the famous people who MP invited to appear on flying Circus. Can anyone help me?
Thank you.

The only ones I can think of are:

David Hamilton
Richard Baker
Douglas Adams
Neil Innes

That's in addition to Connie Booth and Carol Cleveland obviously.

(and I think Lulu is the name of the girl who also appears on the It's Man Show, wasn't she a singer or something?)

George Harrison was in Life of Brian. And Spike Milligan. But we're just sticking to Flying Circus, are we? Hmmmm...never mind then.

I saw a credit for Barry Cryer (who I think was a famous comedian and/or comedy producer) around that time or earlier, for episode 10, but I couldn't say with certainty that I spotted him in any particular sketch. Then there was that BBC newsreader bloke ("...until the name Maudling is completely obscured") whatever his name was.

Outside of purely the Flying Circus...
* Rowan Atkinson (stage performance of 'Four Yorkshiremen')
* Steve Martin and John Belushi (Saturday Night Live or something like that)
* Peter Cook (stage performance of an amalgamated courtroom sketch)
* Tom Hanks (mountie at Concert For George [Harrison])

Oh and of course... Neil Innes!! Lifeblood of the Bonzo-Dog-Doo-Dah Band, who leant Python 'I'm the Urban Spaceman' and the orgasmically magnificent 'How Sweet to be an Idiot'.

Good questions.
Possibly somewhere in series 4, though I wouldn't put my non-existant money on it. I know he had some minor involvement in the writing of the fourth series (he may have co-written the 'Worst Family in Britain' sketch).

I recently noticed that Neil did appear at the end of the Light Entertainment War episode, singing a song in black and white.
