Hi,
I live in Denmark and I really want to get my hands on as many episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus on DVD as humanly possible - but I've only been able to find a boxset (megaset) on Amazon in an american format which won't work in my european DVD-player.

Do any of you guys know where I can find a DVD set in the european format?

Best regards

Hi....I live in ENGLAND and I bought the complete monty python flying circus set on DVD via Amazon. Even though they say it is region 1 (USA/CANADA) it is in fact region 0 which means it can be played on all dvd players. Your tv must be ntsc compatible though...most modern and fairly modern ones are and if not then the picture will come out black and white...this happens in rare cases though. If you have a dvd player on your computer it will play perfectly on that. I had loads of difficulty finding out that the set was region free, couldnt find the info at all, just heard rumours and so bought it and was very happy to learn the rumours were true, region free!!!! as indeed are the 2 other great collections this company does relating to python
1) Monty Python Live (live at hollywood bowl, live at aspen american tv reunion, rare german language episode)
2) The life of Python (2 documentarys on the pythons including all the NEW material they did for a BBC python night tribute and the second of the rare german language episodes.

The company also has started doing complete series collections of the BENNY HILL show and they to are region free.
hope this is helpful

Thanks guys for the info ! Now I know the DVDs are Region 0, I just bought the entire megaset by Amazon and I will then erase the too many VHS where I taped each and every MPFC show when they were broadcast in English on the French TV...
I can't wait receiving it now ![:)][:D][8D]

Hey, just registered greetings all.

I'd like to get that megaset too and was wondering how much the duty/import/whatever costs were when you got it off Amazon in England?

Is the Megaset a best-off where the series are cut or is it the FULL COMPLETE UNCUT series of the MP Flyng Circus

It's the full set - every single episode. I looked for it on ebay, but whatever price you get it for, it's worth it

What do you think, if it's 14 full discs? Do you honestly think that is just a compilation? Use your brain, that's what it's for.
