...still continue my french subtitles ...
It's impossible to translate all the allusions about the 70's british life, included some names absolutely unknowned for us, poor french people.
But ....
at the beginning of the episode, during the "BBC translation":
"Now here is a time check. It's 6 and 1/2 minutes to the big green thing."
What is this: "the big green thing" ?????

thanks for your help ...

a new help wanted on episode 18 "School prize":
in the "elections night special" sketch
what does "swong" (kind of bird ?)and "swang" mean ?
can't find these words on my dictionnary....
many problems of translation about the end of this sketch ....absolutely mad !!
I'm searching hardly a french way to follow the joke with "swing" first, then "swong", then "swang" . not easy ...but "c'est mon karma !"

"Swong" and "swang" mean nothing - they're used as they rhyme with "swing".

The "big green thing" is also a bit of nonsense.

Aaaarrrrrgh !
it's worse that I supposed !! specialy about the "swing-swong-swang" !
That kind of nonsense is probably the bigest problem in the translation.
I'll do my best ... as usual !
thanks for your reply !
