I´d really like to see some german Monty Python sketches. I´ve seen the Lumberjack-Song in the german version and it sounds very funny. It´s also funny that the "Funniest joke in the World" (when they translated it in german to use it in war) makes no sense at all.

"Wenn ist das Nunstuck git und Slotemeyer. Ja Bierhund das oder die Flippenwald gesput."

Sounds funny for us in germany, but makes no sense.

But because of that I LOVE IT!!! :D

ACH, noch ein Deutscher hier, ja?
Da können wir die anderen ja ärgern, indem wir deutsch posten
Kennste den? "Die ist ein Kinnerhunder und zwei Mackel über und der bitte schön ist den Wunderhaus sprechensie. 'Nein' sprecht der Herren 'Ist aufern borger mit zveitingen'"
*rooofl*

the german episode sounds funny to germs because the pythons learned the lines phonetically

Beifall für Frau Mund

You have used an online translation service, I guess. In any case what makes you think the post you replied to was written by a German?

Second joke? I don't recall that at all... or wait, was that in the interrogation bit?

Anyway, I gather from your profile that you are from Germony. But I don't know where to find Germony on the map.

Actually the words are more or less correct, it just doesn't form a sentence.

eric idle plays a german scientist in that sketch:

Voice Over :
But at Peenemunde in the Autumn of '44, the Germans were working on a joke of their own.
Cut to interior. A German general (Terry J) is seated at an imposing desk. Behind him stands Otto, labelled 'A Different Gestapo Officer'. Bespectacled German scientist/joke writer enters room. He clean his throat and reads from card.
German Joker :
Die ist ein Kinnerhunder und zwei Mackel über und der bitte schön ist den Wunderhaus sprechensie. 'Nein' sprecht der Herren 'Ist aufern borger mit zveitingen'.
He finishes and looks hopeful.
Otto :
We let you know.
He shoots him.

Some of the words in both jokes are wrong. In the first joke, only the words "Wenn ist das", "Ja", and "das oder" are really german. In the second joke the words "Kinnerhunder", "Makel" and "zveitingen" are fake.
But imagine the jokes were right. I would´t sit here.

@ Adrian: You live in germany, but you don´t speak german? Weird...

That depends if they were transcribed correct. The words resemble real words, sometimes pasted together, such as Bier, Hund, Zeitungen, Kinder, Hühner.

Now give it a rest, how many posts must we waste on three lines of nonsense?
