Hi guys.
I live in Tokyo, and I am long looking for a music of opening movie of "the bishop"(black & white one. Starting just after "OK Devious, don't move. The bishop!!").
Because now I am making parody film of "the bishop"opening.
I firstly thought to dub the music from DVD, but there is so much laughter that I gave up the idea of using it.

I guess it was from some spy or detective TV series. But no clue was found in Japan.
It seems like this site contains good knowledge about python.
Any comment will be appriciated.

Thank you

trafc

Hmm, I know exactly what you're talking about. It's supposed to be a parody of James Bond and everything I've looked up says, "Animated crime-series-type titles, with suitable music" when describing it. My guess is that it was either written for the show or it's some sort of stock music. I know they use the Peter Gunn theme later in it, too if that helps.

Actually, I think you'll find the whole sketch is a parody of The Saint.

Thank you.
Well "the Bishop" story is parody of "the Saints".
So where the music is from ?
(No clue was found in the soundtrack of "The Saints")
Should I watch whole "the Saints"sereis ?

the music seems very generic, so i can see why it would be hard to find that piece specifically.
