I love Blackadder. Especially the third series (fan of Hugh Laurie, you see :D )

Here in Australia every Saturday night they've been playing classic English comedy shows, which I LOVE. Stuff like Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em, the Benny Hill Show, George & Mildred and Are You Being Served? (my personal favourite).

They're a crack-up. I love English comedy  (As if you couldn't tell. Hehe)

Awww I LOVE Michael Crawford in "Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em". He's just hilarious. And I also have a movie he did with John Lennon called "How to win the war" (a not very good movie, I must say  )

oooooh, I've been watching these too!

In Australia they've just finished showing a new show (although I believe it aired in Britain some time ago) called 'the IT crowd'. It is HILARIOUS.
Python and fawlty towers quality

anyone seen it?

Yeah I was upset that they had the final last week!!! Having goth friends and listening to metal I loved Desmonds character!!! He was so funny.
Was it somehow connected to the people who made Black books??? It had a similar feel to it. I heard they had the same writers or something.

I'm also a huge Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Laurel and Hardy, Dad's Army, 3 stooges, Hogans heros fan.

I have March of the Wooden Soldiers and The flying deuces Laurel and Hardy Dvds and love them, not as much as my beloved 3 stooges they are my favourite black and white slapstick!!!

I've also been watching the classic comedy on Sat nights and am enjoying Are you being served! Finally something decent on Australian Tv!!!!

please let's not stray from topic :(

as i originally said above i did have the collection of the boxset, but it was a slight exaggeration as my bro just done me perfect copies of them
but now i have the proper official boxset i'm no longer breaking the law.

so i've now edited and uploaded one of their all-time legendary masterpieces onto youtube. the hilarious dance routine from "Way Out West" in it's entirety. everyone else seems to have cut out the first part of the song, which i love :lol::lol:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6novrbb6gc

you just can't fault them. i actually can't think of anyone as funny as them let alone more, not even the python team if i had to pick a favourite :D

so please vote and leave a nice message, or watch out for falling anvils
