Hi there every one I was wondering if you possibly help me find a completly sarcastic apology that was put out be John Cleese does any one recall this it was rather good well I liked it anyway. It was quite long if I remember correctly.
If possible could some one post a sound and/or a vid clip of it?
Just a nudge in the right direction would help. EG WHAT TV SHOW OF MOVIE IT was in
Thank you in advance for any help you might give
Cheers

Could it be this one from A Fish Called Wanda:

Archie: All right, all right, I apologize.

Otto: You're really sorry!

Archie: I'm really really sorry, I apologize unreservedly.

Otto: You take it back!

Archie: I do, I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you, or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.

Otto: OK.

I'd say that'd be it... I love A Fish Called Wanda.... Only other appology I can think of is the Flying Circus voice-over in episode 33...

JOHN: THE BBC WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE IN THE WORLD FOR THE LAST ITEM. IT WAS DISGUSTING AND BAD AND THOROUGHLY DISOBEDIENT AND PLEASE DON'T BOTHER TO PHONE UP BECAUSE WE KNOW IT WAS VERY TASTELESS, BUT THEY DIDN'T REALLY MEAN IT AND THEY DO ALL COME FROM BROKEN HOMES AND HAVE VERY UNHAPPY PERSONAL LIVES, ESPECIALLY ERIC. ANYWAY, THEY'RE REALLY VERY NICE PEOPLE UNDERNEATH AND VERY WARM IN THE TRADITIONAL SHOW BUSINESS WAY AND PLEASE DON'T WRITE IN EITHER BECAUSE THE BBC IS GOING THROUGH AN UNHAPPY PHASE AT THE MOMENT -- WHAT WITH ITS FATHER DYING AND THE MORTGAGE AND BBC 2 GOING OUT WITH MEN.

ERIC: THE BBC WOULD LIKE TO DENY THE LAST APOLOGY. IT IS VERY HAPPY AT HOME AND BBC 2 IS BOUND TO GO THROUGH THIS PHASE, SO FROM ALL OF US HERE GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP WELL, AND HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY SUPER DAY TOMORROW, KISS, KISS.

Yes, but I don't think they have it there. Their clips tend to be rather short... maybe if you look for "Sam Peckinpah's Salad Days"... I'm pretty sure it comes just after that sketch...
