[font=Century Gothic]So. We're two little Dutch kids who had to have a talk in front of class and chose the incredible subject, called: death. Later, this turned out to be a lousy idea, 'cause it's just... too much information. So when we were searching for information and only finding too much of it (occasionally exclaiming our brains hurt) Wouter came with the fabulous idea of changing the subject at the last moment and we ought to do it about Monty Python. He'd had this idea because they seemed to have recently purchased the 'best of' video or something, and well, Masha just had every single episode plus a nice assortiment of T-shirts and the script book, so this could be possible.

But. There's always a But and it should be in this post because if there was no But we would just be happily talking about nothing interesting at all. We need your help, if you know anything of importance. Of course, biographies weren't hard to find, but ehm... we can't do quotes or anything (as we have to do it for Dutch class) and well, we wondered could we have some info about stuff like... reviews... things like that. We're not allowed to watch video's either.... blah!

So uhm, if you understood a word of that... Yes. Well. Bye then.

-Masha and Wouter (who are finding they have very filthy nails)

We're two dutch 12-yr-olds; Wouter (Kippewout) and Masha (Monster Mash). We've got to have info about MP for school...

Do they really teach English that well in the Netherlands? Wow. I'm impressed. You guys speak or at least write much better English than the average American 12 yr old.( If you are in fact 12) But that's not saying much, unfortunately.

Anyway, reviews would be a difficult proposition even on the internet as the TV show is over 30 years old and the movies weren't exactly released yesterday either. You would have to delve into the archives of various newspapers, etc.

If you can find a copy of Robert Ross's Monty Python Encyclopedia and similar books at the local library it might be helpful.( I take it for granted you have no interest in buying them.)

Which leads me to ask, has anyone in here read " The Pythons" yet? Reminiscences by the Pythons themselves? Listed at 40.80 US dollars at Amazon. I think I'll wait for the soft-cover version.

Salad as in lettuce, cucumbers, radishes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
