Since 2005 I'm a prettig big fan of them. My favorite song has got to be 'Get up and go'. Er, 'Get Back'. It's a great song, especially the rooftop version which can be heard in it's full glory in 5.1 Dolby Digital on the Anthology dvd episode 8. I made a montage with Python and The Beatles in it featuring 'Real Love'. It's on youtube. The nice thing about being a fan of both The Beatles and Monty Python is that it's so common to be fan of both of them. Because of the Rutles by Idle that's quite understandable. The greater thing is that I'm also a big fan of Peter Sellers and all of the Beatles had (to some extent) a good friendship with Sellers. What do you guys think about the two reunion songs, Free as a bird and Real Love?

they were both well worth waiting for :D

it's just a shame there wasn't enough Lennon material for a new Beatles album, instead they had to make do by putting them on the anthologys. they do need to be on a proper official compilation sometime. Maybe if they released a "Past Masters Gold" double album, that would work.

i couldn't believe Free As A Bird only got to #2, pipped at the post by wackos Earth Song. I wasn't a happy penguin that day. If I remember the review of it was a bit too rough also which i find very strange because Free As A Bird is not unlike Across The Universe (wildlife version) which is a classic. plus the video is one of the best i've seen. it was like staring at the Sgt Pepper album all over again spotting new details

Free as a bird is ok (great video, as you said), but I loooooove Real Love, the melody is beautiful and it has this great "beatles" feeling... I don't really know how to explain that, hopefully you understand me.

The Beatles were great. They were especially amazing when you compare them to other music from the same time. Also, their music varied so much! It's hard to get tired of them because of that! :D

I love the Beatles!! My favourite albums are Revolver and White Album.
They were the best in music like the Pythons were the best in humour! :)
