I propose a hunt to find the worlds longest thread, take it to the most evil place we can find then throw it into a deep lake of boiling hot sulphuric lava.

i also propose to beat their record which i suspect will take quite a long time. but tell me a more fitting place to perform such a completely useless and pointless exercise and we shall never speak of this trivial matter again.

This is the largest I've seen. Well, the largest I've seen that's online right now. My old home on t3h intr3n3ts had a longer thread, but that was shut down due to some...echem....illegal activity....so we're stuck with the 9,528 replies and 48,218 views of the infamous "What song are YOU currently listening to? v2" thread. The first one was locked because there was so many replies it was slowing down the boards.

this is the longest ever thread i've found. started on Mar 07, 2004 and it's still going strong.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/chatterbox/mpt-let-s-get-this-thread-to-a-million-pages-original/t.1488895_6127996

you need to be a member to view it though. insanely it stretches to 408535 pages to date, and around 6,000,000 posts, as the max replies on a page is 15, but i've seen replies on the pages as low as 12, so thereabouts

is it beatable? probably, can we beat it? improbable. are we insane enough to attempt to beat the record though? definitely :P

ok, for starters what shall we chat about?

i may as well begin by sharing a link to a free online game i found recently.

http://www.theblackforge.net/alterego/alterego

a game of life, from birth right up until death. was written by a psychologist. all you have to do is pick a possible outcome to a scenario as you progress through life.

in it, i got into trouble in and outside school, my parents died relatavely young, i became a crack addict, punched out a store manager after his assistant ignored me, got into another brawl outside by the security guards where i came off worse, burnt down the store in revenge and sent down for 3 years in the big house and eventually died in middle age due to a stroke. heh, the hilarity of it all

but the previous game, i died in childhood, that'll teach me not to walk upto a strangers car and accept lifts

there does seem to have been a sudden mass exodus here recently.

perhaps i should re-title this topic as the worlds shortest longest thread.

Where is the mighty Rob Obvious when you need him?
I'm sure he could create a thread of posts stretching from Picadilly Circus
to the planet Skyron, at least as soon as he's done tunneling to Java...

well, you can watch all the Family Guy Episodes here.

Direct Link To Season 6

but was a bit of a chore figuring out where they actually were on the site.

1. scroll down the page, click on the episode you're looking for.
2. once on the page, scroll down again to about halfway and select "Watch Online Now" which should be on the right.
3. scroll down yet again. you may find the first video "unavailable to view in your country", but there should be another working stream video below it.
4. click it.
5. watch it.
6. bake a pie.
7. scan pie
8. post image of pie here.
9. eat the pie.
10. repeat whole process.

hope this helps :)
