Hiii!!!

I was on my way to uni this morning when I've found this ad in "Metro", one of those free newspapers that are given in tube stations:

Image

It means "The grail is being searched in Barcelona"

I've gone to the website http://www.grialbarcelona.com, but it only says the same as the advertisement: "The grial is being searched in Barcelona. Be the first one to discover it! Click here". When you click, it says "If you want to know where the Holy Grail is, fill in the form and we'll send you the answer". And when you fill in the form with your name, city, date of birth and e-mail there is a message that says "Thank you for registering. Next 8th April we'll reveal you the secret". And that's it.

I have no idea of what this all is about, but it sounds really Pythonish!! (Or, at least, "Spamalotish"   )

Ok, I've been investigating a bit about this mysterious ad, and if it's correct what I've read, there will be a Spanish version of Spamalot here in Barcelona. That's really exciting, because it means that Python fans ARE there, but I'm a bit afraid because I know they'll translate the show as they've done with Grease, The Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret... and I don't know how it will sound in Spanish, but anyway I don't think in any case it's a bad new!! If the website was right, it'll be released on September or so.

On the other hand, THIS is silly: last year I flew three times to London to see Spamalot. And now that it's going to be released here in Barcelona, I'll be in London because on September I'm going there to study for three months at King's College. Isn't this FUNNY??

Be sure that if Eric Idle goes to the première or something I'll be there at first row at least to shake him and shout him "You silly old man, you're driving me CRAZY!!!!"

I still don't know. In a couple of days I'll get the answer. If you want to know it too just register in www.grialbarcelona.com

OK, a bit late, I'm sorry, but here you've got the answer:

http://www.spamalotelmusical.com

Yes, Spamalot is coming to Barcelona.... and I've got my tickets!! Wednesday 27th August, the day after its first release. The première is the 9th September, but there weren't tickets available for this day.... And guess which seats did I choose? D1 and D3   For those of you who had seen Spamalot know what the D1 seat means :D :D

I forgot to say it'll be directed by El Tricicle, a great comedy group from Barcelona. I'm sure they'll make a great work. I saw on TV yesterday that castings had started, and that morning there were two knights running up and down the Ramblas just next to my uni (because the theatre is also very close). Unfortunatley I didn't see them, I was wearing my "I'm not dead yet" t-shirt :D :D
