I'm sorry ...
The answer I was looking for was The Ronettes.
as in ...
"'The Ronettes Sing Medieval Agrarian History' please"
'Im sorry...we're sold out...it's trifficly popular. We've got First World War Noises.
Is that the Ronettes?
Nah,nah,the French and The Germans.
Perhaps I could hear a track.
Righto...go in booth 4

As for the singers of the songs in the other sketch ... I'm not quite sure.
I'd have to listen to them again.

The answer to your question is easy ... Clark Gable.

SorryChaps ... I didn't realise I'd posted a blank !
The thread seems to have stalled, so perhaps I could kick it off with another question....

Which Scandanavian exponent of existentialism 'sat there biting the heads off' which kind of dog ?

(Two questions in one for all you clever-bottoms)

... AH ... Biriliant Sir Robin .. At Last !

Incidentally .. . I had to laugh the other day...
On the front page of our local paper was a photo of a local man in trouble with the council over a failed plastics factory....
...and his name ... you guessed it ... Soren Kierkegaard !

Now its your turn to ask a question
.... or will someone else if Sir Robin is absent ?

I could step in if emergency, but maybe Sir Robin randomly pops up in a few minutes. I'll eat a pear now.
