i think i'm going to lay down some rules, based on a trivia game just like this (except about Pink Floyd) on some other boards i'm on.

1. the basic rule: the questions have to be about monty python.
2. if you answer a question, wait for confirmation before you ask another one. even if you're sure you're right, you need to wait anyway.
3. if the person who's turn it is to ask doesn't ask within 48 hours of confirmation of their correct answer, the question goes back to the previous inquisitor. they can then either ask another question, pass it on to someone specifically, or throw the asking up for grabs.
4. if you answer correctly, but don't have a question, you can pass your turn on to someone or open it to everyone.
5. only one question at a time.
6. there is NOOOOOOOOOOOOO... rule 6.
7. NO POOFTAS!!

right.

oh, shut up.

well, firstly, "never" is a very relative term.

we'll say that if an answer isn't confirmed or denied within 72 hours, the question is considered null, and the next question goes up for grabs.

so there's an incentive to pay attention to this thread.

look, it's the principle of the thing.

if i knew i was right, i'd wait for confirmation anyway. sometimes playing on my other boards, i knew i was right, but i waited.

so even if you're 100% absofreaking sure, wait for confirmation. no exceptions.
