Who's seen Terry Jones' Medieval Life? It's very good.

I have. I've got it on dvd. He's really great in it and I'm now trying to convince to everyone I know that the people never thought that the world was flat in the middle ages.

I have it too, but didn't watch all of it yet... it's wonderful so far!
I really enjoy the medieval times, so this is a perfect combination for me

Yeah, a series of 8 episodes in which Jonesey looks at the truths and misconceptions of the middle ages. Filled with Python-like sketches (like a knight saving a damsel in distress only to find out that she's butt ugly). It's very good.

Well, apparrantly Richard the third, who was reputedlly a nasty mincing, lisping hunchbacked homosexual, was in fact a really nice guy, but the wonderful Richard the Lionheart, who was practically worshipped as a saint, was a wicked, self serving opportunist, who wasn't even English, and didn't even like England.
Crazy huh ?

I finished watching it this weekend (4 episodes in one day, so far for studying... )
I adore it too: humour, animation AND history! perfect combination for a semi intellectual loony as me...
