Palin is quite an actor. He can act ANYTHING. However, he's not my favorite Python.

NOTE: I ended up being a Michael Palin in a Monty Python personality quiz.

Eric Idle...no wait... John Cleese... no wait... Michael palin... no wait... I think my favourite is all of them. They are individually very good... definitely.... but as a team they were above the rest by a mile! There is no "BEST" amongst them, they played each part as part of the whole. Palin's Pilate is extremely clever.... Chapman as King Arthur is also extremely funny..... Idle as the customer in Travel Agent!! That is gold too!

But they were a team! "The Team" maybe... but definitley a team.

Yes, after long and hard consideration, I have decided that Michael is my favorite too. I have much love for all the guys, they are all brilliant in their own ways. But Michael.....is Michael. Such a range of characters, and he's in most of my favorite sketches (Lumberjack....Dead Parrot....Fish Slapping Dance....Spanish Inquisition... and of course Pilate). The man's a genius.

And on another, more shallow note, he's cuuuute!!

I knew it!!!! He is the best!!!! Don't get me wrong - I just love each and every one of the Pythons, but Michael is so funny and the way every character is just completely different to the other is brilliant.

And he's gorgeous!!!

We love you Michael XXX

you know, it seems that when it really comes to why people like michael palin, a lot of times it's because he looks good.

i just think he's a great performer.

He is my 3rd fav python at the moment, but i am seriously considering moving him up to 2nd...... I agree he is extremly funny and an awesome performer, but i also think he is quite good looking.
especially in the lifeboat sketch, the one where they are all arguing over who eats who (one of my fav sketches btw), he looks very very cute in that one :P
