I notice many glaring inaccuracies in the transcriptions of the Python scripts. Would you like someone who is a) not deaf and b) can spell to edit them for you?
Examples include the Cheese Shop sketch and the Camelot song.

I agree, especially the Camelot song is the most inaccurate lyrics I ever laid eyes on. Actually the Cheese shop transcript is pretty bad as well.

Mind you some sketches have been performed several times on TV / record / live show, so there could be slightly different version e.g. how many volts would have to go through the parrot to still not make it voom. But that's not the problem here.

Also:
*the German special is in fact the second German special
*penguin on TV is inaccurate
*Piranha brothers has a few small but definate errors
*"The knights who say ni" simply stops before the end and their new text is misspelled
*the bookshop sketch is NOT part of the Hollywood Bowl, but was performed by John Cleese and Connie Booth on "The Secret Policeman's Ball" and was originally a "1948 show" sketch
*the Bruces was not a Hollywood Bowl sketch - they only do the song, not the sketch
*the Bruces' philosophers song is misspelled
*it's not "three wisemen" but three wise men, and they each have a name
*The Witch scene misses the line "Do they hurt?"

It could be that there are errors because the text was scanned in (I don't know if this is true or not) but if so, scanned text is notorious for errors.

Cut the guy some slack. He's busy torturing hedgehogs as well you know... :D

No, it's NOT scanning errors. Scanning the scriptbook would have been much better. Or simply copypasting from more reliable sites. It really is quite bad in some places.

Well I only noticed it just now - I never looked because I already know the stuff by heart.

Ok guys, I will look into a way of (somewhat automatically) handling corrections to the scripts.

By the way, 95% of those scripts are actually not my transcriptions; they were picked up from the newsgroups and various other sources.

At least correct the "incest" soon because that's definately NOT a line in the knights of the round table song.

A couple of sketches and songs have more than one version too,
depending upon the movie or episode. Ah well...

Be nice, folks! Working up transcripts is difficult to do.
And error-prone... kind of like bashing bricks together
when there are dozens of Norwegian ladies in the room.
Certainly makes it difficult to concentrate.

It is NOT a matter of different versions.
It should have been noted when they were put online.
Come on, it's actually very easy to get the scriptbook, or to play the cd or the video or the mp3 and just read along while listening.
Or just copypaste more selectively.

Copypaste for example from this site:

http://arago4.tn.utwente.nl/stonedead/a ... .html#list

Admittedly one cheese or two are still misspelled in the cheese shop sketch but nobody is perfect. Cheese isn't easy you know. Nice and cheesey, maybe, but not nice and easy.
