I mean sketch, not series. You cannot say you don't have a least favorite sketch.

You're no fun anymore.

That explains why you like "L"'s. That's okay. Some people find certain skits funnier than others.

I don't dislike the Almada, I just think it's bizarre rather than funny...It's a good thing to show to people if you want to freak them out, what with the motorbikes and everything. It's a minor classic of 'sullearism'.

Same here! I don't hate it... it's just not all that funny.

You're no fun anymore!

Apparently, not many people have a least favorite. That scares me.

from Series 2, the 'new cooker' sketch.

as if you dont like the new cooker sketch! i thought that one was very very funny.

I am still new to monty python and i am working my way through the video rental place's collection lol, but ive seen about 9 episodes all up.
I didnt find the sketch with the miners very funny..... or blackmail.
My least fav sketch would probably be liver removal from meaning of life.

On the subject of quality distinctions in Python...My personal feeling about MPFC is that the first series is the most consistently funny, after a slightly ropey first episode. Then I think there's a little bit of a dip in the second series, though some of the later episodes in series 2 ('Archaeology Today', 'Different Parts of the Body', 'Spam') are a return to the greatness of series 1. The third series is the most patchy - sometimes self-indulgent and strained, sometimes genuinely brilliant - eg Dennis Moore, The Cheese Shop, Oscar Wilde etc. Then the fourth series has a few great moments, but is in general relatively weak.

Then again, there are people who think the second series is the best one - go figure...
