I like the comment about Terry Gilliam and the bridge, and him being the only person insane enough to cross it.

"He would have run across before they put the bridge up!"
"Oh, what, no bridge? Nevermind!"

What does "kudos" mean? I've heard it before, and I'm even sure I've used it once or twice, but I've never figured out it's literal meaning.

back to the 'fave scene in the meaning of life' bit:
the ONLY thing i've seen Gilliam do that i vaguely like is the bit with tree with the leaves falling off it

eric's little 'follow me!' sketch - not enough eric in this film! lol yes i know he's in it a lot, but not enough! lol

don't like mr creosote - don't like seeing terry looking like jabba the hut... bad visuals man!

obviously all the typical bits like the tiger made of cerial packets, the sex sex sex part (don't like cleesey's bum in that though) 'Its an ocarina, sir' lol bless him! i love michael! and the find the fish thing...

i'm not sure if i like this part or if i'm grossed out by it: in the zulu scene where graham comes in to look at eric's non existent leg, pokes the stump with his pipe, and then puts the pipe back into his mouth!

of course i love the galaxy song - who can't?!
btw - is eric trying to be like david bowie? i don't know why, but there is something VERY bowie-esque about him - probs the hair... is it just me??!

of course, i love all the bits with terry in (apart from mr creosote obv... also i don't like terry as much when he doesn't have a posh voice... dunno what it is, but a deep posh voice totally does it for me! ) uuhm... ok favourite terry bit for me is when he's a woman in the death scene - he really looks genuinely sozzled! i don't know if he was quaffing champagne or appletizer, but whatever it was he was certainly knocking them back!

i was just thinking..... IF that was real champers, and he had quite a few glasses in that scene.... and obviously when people muff up lines and stuff you have to re-take the scene... say..... seven times? at least?...lol he musht hv endid upabit worsh f'wear bythend ofit *hic*

Yeah I like that part too! The way he orates (is that a word, from oratory?) makes it totally believable. Or then not, because it IS hard to pay attention to someone talking like that....anyway, John is great in that kind of authocratic roles...

'Hmm, something's missing still.............Patient!'

'Sorry, just, em, testing?' (When Graham shoots Mr Death)

By the way, it IS Terry G playing the American isn't it? Of course he IS an American but him playing an American without any balls is just pretty funny!
