It seems that the movie Yellowbeard from 1983 with the cast of Monty Python and other greats is out of print. My VHS copy taped with a 1983 VCR off HBO has long since died. I wonder what are the chances of Yellowbeard being released on DVD are? I think it would be warmly welcomed by the community of Monty Python Fans and being Marty Feldmans last film (I heard that Marty Feldman passed away during the filming of Yellowbeard from a shellfish allergy in Mexico City) would be a great tribute to all involved!

Of course it should. As a matter of fact there are quite a few people who sell bootlegs on ebay. Including a "making of". Of all the almost-monty-python films (missing one or two members) this is the best IMO.

You'd think if a bootleg fetches $45 on ebay some DVD company would take the hint...

Python minus Terry G. - perhaps that's why it hasn't got a release yet.

And other fans. Marty Feldman fans, John Cleese fans, and Peter Cook, Spike Milligan and Nigel Planer (Neil in the The Young Ones) have small roles as well.
