'One day Ricky the magic pixie went to visit daisy bumble. In her tumble-down cottage. He found her in the bedroom. Roughly he grabbed her heavy shoulders, pulling on the bed and ripping off her...'

Well done, thirty points for you karlmarx! now you next question... Coventry City last won the FA Cup in what year? No? Well, I'm not surprised you didn't get that. It was in fact a trick question. Coventry City have never won the FA Cup.

Excuse me, that is in fact incorretc,
Coventry City won the Fa Cup for the first time in 1987, defeating Tottenham Hotspurs in an enthralling encounter 3-2 after extra time in what is arguably the best final of the last twenty years.
Though going behind in the first two minutes to a goal by player of the year Clive Allen, Coventry got back into the match and forced a 2-2draw.
The match thus entered extra time and \an own-goal by Gary Mabbutt saw Coventry take this historic victory.
Things were not so good for them the following two years, particularly when they were humiliated by lowly SLough.
So in fact, 1987 was the first and the last time that Coventry City have won the FA Cup

How do you wish to compensate me.

No, no, I am not a Coventry City supporter.
I am indeed a West Bromwich Albio man myself

Boing Boing Baggies

We last won the FA Cup in 1968 with Jeff Astle scoring the winner in extra time in what was quite honestly, a fairly dour contest which the Albion won 1-0.

Jeff Astle, in scoring the winner succeeded in scoring in every round of the FA CUp in which the Baggies did play.

This was the Baggies fifth victory in the competion, but since they have not managed to reach the final, though they did attain two semi final places inh 1978 and in 1981, but lost on both accounts to two teams, Ipswich and QPR respectively, who we were expected to defeat.
