Hiya,

I'm not too familiar with the sketches, but I do LOVEEE the songs. However, I don't know who sings what. I would be ever so grateful if someone could fill me in... I know Eric Idle sings most of them... But you know - what about the rest??? Also - the backing vocals (lumberjack song, sit on my face etc..) - who's that?!

I'd appreciate anything you could tell me, for I am a silly bagger, with far to little knowledge of monty python..

Cheers!!!

Sit On My Face is sung by John, Terry G, Terry J and Graham. Well it is in hollywood bowl anyway.

The backing vocals in the lumberjack song and mosy python songs were done by a group called the Fred Tomilson Singers.

It depends which version you have.

The Flying circus version, the And now for something completely different version, the record version (dont know which record) and the german version are all sung by Micheal Palin. Eric Idle sang the lumberjack song in Live At The Hollywood Bowl

on monty python sings it's michael. on the final ripoff it's eric.

in the flying circus version, ANFSCD, and most others it's michael. however, like fogchicken pointed out, it's eric at hollywood bowl.

Graham sings 'Traffic Lights'
Michael sings 'Decomposing Composers'
and I'm pretty sure Terry J sings 'Here Comes Another One'

No, they're lip-synching. It's sung exactly the same as on the Contractual Obligation album. I have no idea who sings it and I actually really want to figure it out. It's also sung at the Concert for George, though they're singing over the original version.
