Do you think Eric biting his scythe to stop himself laughing in Holy Grail should be counted as a blooper/goof?

No, that's not it. No-one claimed it was a deliberate move. But if you can't see that he is laughing, you can't know it is a mistake, until someone starts the anecdote.

So are you saying that because you didn't spot it that no one else can interpret it? Why can't you see that he's laughing? You missed something. Get over yourself.

You are very quick to blame this on me. So far this was a discussion wether or not this was a mistake, not a personal debate. To attack someone's person is generally a sign of weakness and lack of proper arguments.
Now, you are welcome to post a picture of Eric, in that scene, visibly smiling. In that case you would be right.

Nothing I said was in any way blaming you for anything. It seems you contradict everyone if this thread is anything to go by.

Nor was I attacking you. As for knowing about "proper arguments", I can't help but think something is getting lost in the translation here.

I didn't come here for an argument.

Agreed. I do seem to argue and contradict everyone a lot about this. But most people don't seem to mind really.

Mind you, I think the description in the poll question is very suggestive. If you put it like that it seems only natural to vote yes, unless everyone is actually going to watch it again before voting.
But so far, almost half the people agreed with me, and no-one has lost his temper, so all seems well. I even confirmed that I contradict everyone, how honest can it get?

just to have my say: in that scene where he is 'laughing' eric doesn't appear to look like he usually does when hysterically trying to remain calm and in character. such as the wartime scene in the mol. i'll have to watch it again to make sure, but personally i don't think he was laughing, and it has been perceived to be a blooper when actually he was adding a bit of weirdness to the character. cos when eric's laughing we all know about it, as he is the one who can't keep a straight face.

in conclusion. i have tried to make a point. whether or not it was successful or made an ounce of sense or not is a different matter. but as we all know, i'm not entirely sane. xx

I think it's safe to say he voted yes. Look at the poll, 5 votes for yes, which was 3 before his reaction.

Me too, but seeing the votes I think he voted for Yes, or maybe he didn't vote yet?
