Holy Grail, is roll-on-the-floor funny all the way through, followed closely (but not too close, that would just be impolite) by Life of Brian :D

Probably "Live At The Hollywood Bowl", because it has all of my favorite bits from the series, except for "Defense Against Fesh Fruit". I know ANFSCD does have said sketch, but without the laughter from an audience it isnt the same... :? My others are (in order):

2. Life Of Brian
3. Holy Grail
4. Meaning Of Life
5. ANFSCD

My favorite is Meaning of life, because of the hilarious songs :d
I haven't seen ANFSCD or Hollywood bowl yet...
Holy grail is 2nd, because I have it on psp so I can watch it all the time
(I repeat the part with Michael Palin in castle anthrax over and over again... just heaven)
Life of Brian was the first film I ever saw, kind of my first meeting with Monty Python, and I think I'll like it better if I see it a second time... Who knows? I was a little too young, back than, couldn't understand a word they were saying... But I did laugh a lot :d

i doubt that

for some reason, guys seem to be more into python humour than the girls.
we watched python in drama class today, and me and the teacher were basically the only females laughing. all the guys were.

My boyfriend's also fan... And I'm not just fan because Michael Palin's cute! I'm not in to sexism that much :p
I agree with fogchicken though... In my school, only the boys know something about MP, the girls always go like 'who is that'?
I think most girls dislike the fact that they dress up like women from time to time? who knows... I know they're ALL just great :D

do you really think so ? i'm not so sure. Anyway here is a good topic : why do guys seem to be more attracted by pythonesque (oh i'm afraid i wrote it in the french way but i can't think of the british one) humour than girls ?

Pythonesque IS a beautiful word... Maybe the english version is Pythonish? In dutch, its Pythonachtig :D
It seems quite obvious: MP=6 men... Men can relate, I suppose...

If 'relate' isn't a word, don't look at me, I'm only a Dutch girl trying to speak english the best I can :)

While I believe Life of Brian had the best narrative (and ending), I found Holy Grail a more enjoyable experience. And Now For Something... was a nice way to see sketches in a more cinematic way. Live at the Hollywood Bowl is not exactly a film (the pythons admit this), but is good entertainment. Meaning of Life had some of the most infamous bits, but being a sketch film, it gets boring at one point.

after 50 minutes as cleesey thinks ?
Since last wenesday, i'm the proud owner of a DVD of the Meaning of Life. I enjoyed it, though i was worried about the "infamous bits" as Pythonmonty says. But it's OK, thanks to the pythons' performances i think. And i loved the "where has the FISH gone?" part, it's just so funny
