I remember reading about an upcoming Python CD entitled "The Hastily Cobbled Together for a Fast Buck Album". This album was made out of deleted material and has been around the internet as a bootleg. There has been reports saying it to be released. I even read a article to be released on October 17, but of 2005. This made it unknown whether it to be released att all, but the re-release of all the Python CDs by EMI might point a release this CD. Can I hear others opinion on this CD.

I searched this title and I found that it is unreleased but can be downloaded [as a bootleg].

Here's a link to download the entire Album.

[Note: The Pythons say its ok to the downloading of the bootleg because it has never been released to the public].

No, that is correct, it has never been released. There were plans to release most of the records on CD again but these have been delayed, I think. :(

I believe they are still re-releasing all the previous Python. They will be digitally remastered (like most re-releases) and will contain material never-before released on them.

Here are links from amazon for them:

Another Monty Python CD
Monty Python's Previous Record
Matching Tie And Handkerchief
Live at Drury Lane
The Album of the Soundtrack of the Trailer of the Film of Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Life of Brian
Monty Python's Contractual Obligation Album
The Album of the Meaning of Life

Where does it say anything about the material never released before?

Because so far they look just like re-issues to me, nothing new about that. CDs with two tracks, one for each side of the original record.* Have been released before.

*Although one python record managed to contain THREE tracks...

Strange? I remember seeing that the re-released carrying new material on them. It even saids expanded versions on the amazon Description. :?

This means that the company decided to delete the extra tracks (which makes no sense), or amazon missed up on something. I'm confused.

*EDIT*

Here's something interesting. www.cduniverse.com has the re-issues for sale. They also say they are expanded and name the extra tracks on thier
site. They also say that they will be updated booklets and revised artwork and sleevenotes by Terry Gilliam. :D

GREAT NEWS! When checking the website www.eric~idle.com, I found that Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, and Terry Jones have said they would be interested in making a brand-new Python album. It seems that the only people who haven't said anything is John Cleese and Eric Idle.

This is great!!! Not only do we have the chance of releasing never-before released material, we have the possibility of getting BRAND NEW stuff. :D

I'll post more information on the subject when I find it.
