Oh almost in tears again. Can I use your picture on wikipedia for the Python page, Gambolputty? It's perfect as the last full Python moment screenshot.

Well, it´s not actually a reunion. Just a digital. A bit disappointing, though. :?

Someone just removed that picture! He said there were to many pictures already, the bastard. The virtual reunion though was also put there by me a long time ago.

Pattor :D
only old ones. it's in the 16-ton megaset (the one with 16 dvds, not the one with 14)

According to the "autobiography" The Pythons, a new piece of material written and featuring the Monty Python members and Steve Martin was to be included in the special. In the sequence, the Monty Python members, dressed as school boys, ask Martin questions and take notes. The sequence was removed at request by the Pythons because it was felt to be unfunny. However, some of the members today wish it was included, as it was the last time deceased Monty Python member Graham Chapman performed with the group.

The Pythons did do an alternate version of their appearance, which is featured in the special, in which Steve Martin reveals that they are all in a cupboard. Let it be noted that Chapman appears to be very pale and yellowish because at that time his diagnosis with throat cancer was taking its effects on him [citation needed]. This would be his last appearance on television before his death.

I'ts on the second disc of the 'Monty Python Live' set. Region 1, I believe. It features some of the best sketches from Python and a few seconds from the German shows in the beginning, and an intro and an outro by Steve Martin. It ends with Steve telling the audience "So, there you have it. The best of Monty Python. Where are they now? Well, they're here in this cupboard (opens the cupboard and we see the Pythons as in that screenshot). Sad isn't it? Goodnight." And then Steve walks away and Palin says "Steve? Steve? Can you leave the door open please, so that they can see us? That's the whole point, reunion, see it all again, Steve? Steve Martin! Come back and open the door!" So it's definatley worth watching if only for that last bit.

BTW, I haven't got it on dvd, can't play region 1 here in Holland. I do have it taped from when it was on Dutch tv 6 years ago. So when you can't play region 1 dvd's, there's no possibillity of watching it, at least for now.

EDIT: Gambolputty beat me to it! :P
