okay, so i graham chapman is my favourite python, and after buying his DVD "comedy lecture.. looks like a brown trouser job" i became aware of gcarchives.com, becuase it is mentioned on the case

however whenever i go on that webpage i get as far as http://www.gcarchives.com/pageone.htm and then there's nothing else to click on or select. is that the whole website? or am i being a looney? help would be very much appriciated, i'm reading as much of Graham's writings as i can :)

that does appear to be the whole site yes. Spiny Norman normally has one or two things to say about the gcarchives. I'm sure there's a thread around about it somewhere...

It looks like it's just a holding page until someone decides whatto do something with it. They registered the name so no one else could. Funny thing is fans are more likely to register www.gchapman.com or www.grahamchapman.com etc than www.gcarchives.com as itr's not memorable or catchy is it.

True. There's this man called yim joakum or something like that who sort of appointed himself the 'official' GC archive. He is the one who sometimes releases bits of Graham's unpublished work (when he needs money I expect).
He is also notorious for starting arguments and ranting on message boards under a false name. (For example he took a grudge against Douglas Adams at one time.)
