what is "vittlers" ? not found on any dictionnary.....
old english, old job in the 16th century ?

"Vittlers" (actually spelt as "Victuallers") are people who supply victuals i.e. food and drink. In England this normally refers to an innkeeper or publican, however it can also mean a ship supplying and servicing a fleet.
