I would absoulutely love to see your show but unfortunatley I live all the the way out in California. Is there a possibility that the show can be taped and then sold to those who missed out on the live performance ?

Are you asking me to compromise copyright laws, tch, tch. A UK or USA, (what the hell a world tour) would be great but Python has allowed us permission on the proviso it remains a small, amateur production. I'll see what I can do to let everyone know how the show goes. We will be taking a video of the show for archival purposes and I will check with Python if we can make sone copies and send to interested parties for no charge. Thanks for your interest, regards Wal

if it werent for the long distance commute I would love to help out as well. I just recently graduated high school and whilst I spent my dreary four years there I disracted myself with theatre. I was Vice President of the Drama Club. and stage crew, props master, techie, and makeup artist for all of our major plays.
(I just might have to move to Austraila, J/K , but seriously I just might)

what a coincidence Lady Gallahad, I did stage/set/props/costume/makeup/lights/sound all while acting, lemme tell you, over the last 4 years, I've spent more time in my school's auditorium then I did at home.

I failed A-level drama. Its because I was interested in teching (do lights and stuff still), but A-level drama is about <i>acting</i>. Great if you're an actor, but if you're a techie, who cares about Brecht and Stanislavski?!?!?!?!?!?

This is really exciting. The radbag family is looking for new vacation spots -- wish we could travel to Australia for this! Best of luck. Let us know how things progress. I also have a theater, musical, writing background from high school & college and it would be a dream-come-true to work on a production like this. Maybe I should relocate!<hr noshade size="1">

If you don't mind my saying so, you're badly in need of an expensive course of psychiatric treatment.

Just an update on Brian rehearsals. The cast, around 30 playing the 70 odd characters, are having too good a time, especially some of the older guys such as Bill, who plays Simon the Holy Man. He's around 70 and looking forward to when he crawls out of the hole with his bare backside winking at the audience. Did I mention we are including a 'lost scene' featuring Otto and the Suicide squad first meeting Brian when the suicide squad has a 'practice run'. I found the scene in the Monty Python Scrapbook of The Life of Brian of Nazareth. Apart from being very funny it has some hot lines concerning Otto's thoughts on what he would do with non-Jewish people in Judea which will cause plenty of debate.
My main worry is finding backing music for the two songs, Brian and Bright Side of Life. If anyone has nay suggestions please let me know, Solidarity Brothers (and sisters), Wal.
