Wal, does that mean you're going to do the suicide squad song?

Yes, the suicide squad will sing their anthem. I only have the lyrics so we are using the Battle Hymn of the Republic music which seems to fit well, and sounds more than appropriate considering Otto's view of the Middle East.
Six weeks until opening night, tickets go on sale in a week but we are already inundated with booking requests from all over the state of Victoria, and we don't start advertising until next Friday (Sept 3). The cast has suddenly found themselves to be very popular and could well book out the show themselves.
You have to wonder why a professional group hasn't performed Life of Brian before.

I could never tell you how to get the music for it, and with six weeks left, its probably too late anyway, but I have a copy of the song with its original music. Which I would be happy to post, if I got the motivation to rip it onto my computer...

Thanks anyway Pythonline. I do have the soundtrack CD which we can perform 'along' with but I would have preferred to have the sheet music and organise a live musical backing for both songs. I think it will still work anyway.
Tickets go on sale Friday September 3. $20 per ticket, 10 per table, book through Yarrawaonga/Mulwala Visitor Information Centre on (03) 57441989. BYO drinks and nibbles.
Performance dates are Friday and Saturday, October 8, 9, 16, 16, 22 and 23 at 7.45pm.
DON'T attempt booking tickets until Friday please.
We are working out a special deal at a few of the local motels for those going to see Brian, I will post info shortly, Wal

Sorry I went missing, I've been on leave to do the show.
Life of Brian went over unbelievably. We performed to sell-out crowds virtually every night with the last two shows attracting over 300 people into a hall we set-up for around 240.
We could take the show anywhere and be welcome such was the response.
The media finally got on board virtually around the country and we are still getting calls despite the show finishing last weekend.
Many mad Python fans saw the show and all were not only happy with how we presented Brian but proud they had witnessed such a historic event.
I will be back at work in a week and give more details, regards, Wal
