Well, fellow Pythonmaniacs, I have just returned home from a trip to Melbourne where I was lucky enough to see the Oz version of Spamalot. Very funny stuff. Stephen Hall is a STAR - he played Lancelot, Tim, the leader of the Knights who say Ni AND the French guard. What a legend. And to top it all off he also played Bert Newton in the movie about Graham Kennedy. Brilliant.

Loved the bloke who played Robin too.

Enjoyed it very much - those of you who haven't seen it - do so, you won't regret it. Bought myself a pair of Killer Rabbit slippers, which my 1-year-old nephew keeps kissing  The dog freaked out when he saw them though. Thinks they're real

Has anyone on this site seen the overseas versions? I would've loved to have seen the Broadway one, with Tim Curry as Arthur and David Hyde-Pierce from Frasier as Robin. They're both hilarious.

I've been to the UK one loads of times (I stopped counting at 10). I'm going again next week. Peter Davidson (ex-Doctor Who) is playing King Arthur.

At this stage i'm most likely going to OZ version, in late march. The same weekend Richmond plays Carlton. Though this will all depend on my new job, if i can fly down and if i can afford it.

I saw it with the original cast (Tim Curry, Hank Azaria, David Hyde Pierce, et al.) in New York. Brilliant stuff. Seeing Hank in a......well, I won't spoil it for the others. Just hilarious though :]

Saw it a few days ago in London. It was hilarious! Bloody brilliant!

I loved John to be the voice of god and Erics voice at the beginning. :D

I've seen it four times in London, and at the first one there was still Tim Curry playing King Arthur. I even met him after the show and he signed my program :D:D

And I also met David Birrell, the guy who played Patsy until last summer

And next 26th August, Spamalot is released in Barcelona (see www.spamalotelmusical.com). I've got my tickets for the 27th, seat D1 (D1, know what I mean, nudge nudge!!)
