Yeah. It would have been a great way too end the film, with it getting somewhat serious at the end. Would be especially great since that was pretty much the last Python show or film. It would be exactly what nobody would expect, and who says that isn't what Python is all about?

Location: I'm really in Swamp Castle, but for legal reasons I have to say I'm in Liverpool.
Your version is good, but I like the ending the way it is. Though I must say I really don't like the Christmas in Heaven part of the ending of the film, I find it a bit tacky.
