Just after Christmas holidays, I had my first English class of the quartier at Uni with a new teacher. He told us that in those classes we were going to do a lot of listenings, analyzing videos and such, just to get used to listen to people speaking in English. I nearly fell of from my sit when he asked "Allright, in this first class we're going to analyze a Monty Python skit. Does anybody know what Monty Python is?". Of course, I said "YESSSS" and tried to describe them a bit. Some people of the class knew about Life of Brian and the Holy Grail, but none of them knew about Meaning of Life or Flying Circus :( Then, we saw the skit. It was "Vocational Guidance Counselor", with Michael and John. I must say people LAUGHED!! And we had as ┬┐homework? to watch it again and to ask if there was something we didn't understand. And just after the class, the teacher told me that he noticed I was a huge Python fan (how clever, man!!) and that if I had any favorite sketch I could send it to him and maybe we could watch it in class. After thinking it carefully, I sent him three possible sketches: the Last Supper (from Monty Python in Hollywood), the Bruces and the Architect Sketch He told me we'll probably watch one of them the last day of class of the quarter, in a couple of weeks :D :D

That's great :]
Any teacher that integrates Python into curriculum is good in my book.

Hey we're reading the Crucible at the moment too, for English Studies. No python yet though, other than references in my head :(

That's so cool! Hopefully people will like whichever other sketch he plays, too.

Yeah.... I hope he'll chose the Last Supper sketch. I think it's the easiest to understand for people who's not very familiarized with Python. And Eric's soooo great in that one...

My latin teacher is a python fan, and told us about a narrative reference to latin in the Meaning of Life, when someone says "by, with or from" making fun of how latin was taught by chanting in those days. Can anyone remember when they said "by with or from" cause I cant remember when it was!
