Does anyone know where I can find a clip of the corporate pirate scene from the Meaning of life? I tried to find it on youtube but had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You skip it? Shame, shame. I love this bit. I forget it comes before MoL every time I watch it so it comes as a pleasant surprise. I love it :]

At first I couldn't believe how long it was, but its still so crazy it makes me laugh! I always get a kick out of when you first see Mike and Terry as the window cleaners, because they're not in that bit, and I missed them, you know? :D

Mike's appearance there was about all the other pythons had to do with the Crimson Permanent Assurance (which was originally going to be a cartoon, until Gilliam was tired of animation after having done Time Bandits or whatever his most recent film was), what with Gilliam having his own studio and film crew. It wasn't until Gilliam asked for another million dollars that the others realised what was going on next door wasn't the three-minute piece they were expecting. It's certainly a good bit of fun, particularly for the retired film stuntmen who got to give it one last hurrah.

Yes it is beautifully absurd, but not in the same way as most of the rest of the film (and python in general), which makes for a nice bit of variation

That is what makes it strange. It has many aspects of Monty Python, yet feels a lot different.
