There was a wedding to be held in the restaurant where the Mr. Creosote scene was shot, the day afterward.

One of the FX guys sort of blew-up when re-setting the explosions for the WW1 trench scene in Meaning of Life

The Ministry of Silly Walks sketch was an idea of John and/or Graham's but they did not actually write the sketch, as they were working on something else when they thought of it and so they rang Palin & Jones to interrupt whatever they were doing and make them write the sketch.

Sorry Sir Not Appearing in Film, But scene where Arthur approaches the first castle was filmed at Doune castle Perthshire Scotland as was the Trojan Rabbit the scene where God appears to the Knights and a few other scenes. The scene with Lancelot dashing to Swamp castle was filmed near the castle near the Ardoch burn . Doune castle is situated between it and the river Teith. The scene with the Black Knight I believe was filmed near the Bracklin falls , near the Town of Callander. The first encounter with Tim the Enchanter was filmed at a dissused Slate Quarry in the Trossachs Nr Aberfoyle.
The Killer Rabbit was filmed at old Copper Mines Nr Loch Tay in Perthshire.
The scene where the Historian is killed by the Knight on the horse was filmed near the Ruins of Finlarig Castle Nr Killin Perthshire.

The German EpisodeT of MPFC was done with the help of and after an idea of Alfred Biolek, who was a well known V cook and interviewer (now retired) and made the Pythons known in Germany in the first place. But The Pythons never catched on with the general public (not to be confused with General Klaus Werner Publik, who loved the show, but that's a totally different story), just like Dr. Who, driving left and irony in general (again, with the exception of Mr. K.W. Publik). Germans do love "Dinner for One", though.
